It depends on what you want to discover. The Algarve Coast Tour is all about dramatic cliffs, sea views, Benagil, Marinha, Carvoeiro and Algar Seco. The Estoi & Tavira Experience takes you into the eastern Algarve, with local culture, charming towns, nature and Praia do Barril. The Sagres & Lagos Tour is for travellers drawn to the wild, rugged Atlantic coast.
Yes, as long as they're 12 or older. The minimum age for all our experiences is 12.
The minimum age for all Choose Your Route experiences is 12 years old.
Absolutely. Solo travellers are very welcome. Our small groups make it easy to meet people naturally, and our guides are there to make everyone feel part of the day.
We keep things small so the experience stays personal. The Algarve Coast Tour and Estoi & Tavira Experience have 2 to 8 travellers. The Sagres & Lagos Tour has 3 to 8 travellers.
Yes. You're very welcome to join us on your own. Our experiences are designed around small groups, connection and sharing the day with other travellers.
Our regular experiences are limited to 8 travellers. If you're a larger private group, get in touch and tell us your group size, date and what you'd like to experience. We'll see what we can arrange.

We're here for more than ticking places off a list. Our experiences are small-group, led by local guides and built around the real Algarve... its landscapes, stories, people and unexpected moments.
We believe travel should be felt, not just seen.
We don't aim to give you a rushed, one-size-fits-all day. Our groups are small, our guides are local and we look for the places and moments that help you experience the Algarve in a more personal way.
Our guides know the Algarve through experience... the routes, landscapes, stories and little details that can make a day feel very different from simply following a map.
Yes. English is the language of our tours. Some of our guides also speak other languages.
What your day will feel like

Expect a full day of exploring, discovering, walking, laughing, taking photos and enjoying the Algarve at a comfortable pace. Your guide will lead the way, share stories and help the group make the most of the day.
Yes. Depending on the route and conditions, there are moments to explore, take photos, enjoy lunch, swim or simply take in the surroundings.
Our small groups help us keep the experience relaxed and personal. The exact pace can vary depending on the group, traffic and conditions, but we don't want you to feel like you're simply racing from one stop to another.
That's absolutely fine. You never have to do something you're uncomfortable with. Our guides can help you choose the safest and most comfortable option for you.
There is a normal to moderate amount of walking, including steps and uneven paths. Algar Seco can be more challenging. Our guides adapt the pace where possible, but the experiences are not wheelchair accessible.
What's included?
No hidden surprises... just know what's part of your day.
Your tour includes your guide, transport between the stops and the experience described on your chosen route. Insurance is also included.
Lunch, personal purchases and optional paid activities are not included unless specifically stated.
Lunch isn't included. On the Algarve Coast Tour, we'll stop in Carvoeiro where you'll find restaurants, cafés and mini-markets. You're also welcome to bring your own food or picnic.
We don't provide bottled water, so please bring enough water for your day.
No. The Algarve Coast Tour is entirely land-based. There is no boat trip and we don't enter Benagil Cave by boat.
Swimming may be possible depending on the route, weather, sea conditions and timing on the day. Your guide will always put safety first.
Snorkelling isn't included or provided. Depending on the route and conditions, there may be an opportunity to snorkel independently during free time if you bring your own equipment.
Cliff jumping can be an optional part of the experience when conditions make it safe. It's never compulsory and safety always comes first.
What should I bring?
A few simple things will make your day much more comfortable.
Bring comfortable shoes, water, sun protection and anything you may need for the weather and activities you're planning to enjoy.
Yes. You'll be walking on steps, paths and uneven ground, so comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.
Yes. Small backpacks and carry-on-sized luggage are welcome, subject to space in the van. If you're travelling with larger or multiple pieces of luggage, please check with us before booking.
If you'd like the option to swim and the conditions allow it, bringing swimwear is a good idea.
It's recommended that you bring your ID or passport with you, although it isn't mandatory for the tour itself.
Meeting point & transport
Getting here should be easy. Here's exactly what to expect.
Our Faro-based experiences meet outside Faro Customs House (Alfândega de Faro), next to the steps by the car park, directly opposite Eva Senses Hotel.
Our tours meet in Faro rather than offering standard hotel or airport pickup. The meeting point is at Faro Customs House, directly opposite Eva Senses Hotel.
For larger private groups, an alternative pickup may sometimes be possible depending on the group size, location and logistics.
Look out for our white Ford 9-seater van and your Choose Your Route guide.
For the Algarve Coast Tour, the experience starts at 09:30, so please arrive by 09:20.
The Algarve Coast Tour normally returns to Faro around 17:30. The exact return time can vary depending on traffic, group pace and conditions.
There are several parking options around Alfândega de Faro. We recommend allowing enough time to park and walk to the meeting point by 09:20 for the Coast Tour.
Tour bookings are paid online. You may still want to carry some cash for personal expenses during the day.
Weather, safety & the unexpected
The Algarve usually brings sunshine... but nature gets the final word.
Your guide will always prioritise safety and the quality of the experience. If weather or conditions affect the route, the itinerary may be adapted where possible.
Safety comes first. Your guide will consider weather, sea conditions, terrain and the group before deciding what activities and routes are appropriate on the day.
Swimming is never guaranteed. If conditions aren't suitable, your guide will prioritise safety and the group will enjoy the rest of the experience.
Absolutely. You should never feel pressured to do something you're uncomfortable with. Tell your guide and they'll help you find the safest and most comfortable option.
Yes. Insurance is included in the experience.
Booking, changes & cancellation
Because plans change. We get it.
Choose your experience, select your date and complete your booking online. You'll receive an automatic confirmation email with your tickets.
No. Your ticket is sent by email and you don't need to print it. Having it available on your phone is enough.
Yes. Date changes can be requested up to 24 hours before the tour, subject to availability.
Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour.
Within 24 hours, refunds are normally not available, although exceptional situations can be reviewed individually.
If the minimum group number isn't reached and we need to cancel the experience, you'll receive a full refund.
After you've booked
You've booked. Now you can start looking forward to it.
Yes. Pre-tour information is sent by email so you know where to meet, when to arrive and what to bring.
Your pre-tour information and booking communication are handled by email. During the experience, your guide may create a Choose Your Route WhatsApp group for the group.
Your guide may create a WhatsApp group during the experience. It's used to share useful information and photos and to keep the group connected.
Yes, your guide will often capture moments and photo spots throughout the day. Photos are shared with the group through the Choose Your Route WhatsApp group.
