Discover the beauty of the Algarve on a day trip from Faro. Visit Cabo de São Vicente, explore the Fortaleza de Sagres, enjoy free time in Lagos, and admire the views at Ponta da Piedade.
Depart from Faro and head to Cabo de São Vicente, the southwesternmost point of mainland Europe.
Spend 30 minutes exploring the area and taking in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Next, travel to the Fortaleza de Sagres, a historic fort that played a crucial role in the Age of Discoveries.
Spend around 1 hour exploring the fort and its museum.
The entrance ticket to Sagres Fortress is not included and is paid on site. However, we handle the ticket purchase for you in advance, ensuring priority access and a smoother entry experience.
Inside the fortress, you will visit the museum where an audio guide is included, allowing you to explore at your own pace and better understand the history and significance of this unique location.
Continue to the center of Lagos, where you’ll have 2 hours of free time to enjoy lunch and explore the charming streets of this historic town.
Finally, head to Ponta da Piedade, a stunning coastal area known for its dramatic cliffs and rock formations.
Spend an hour taking in the views before returning to Faro.

Where is the meeting point?
We meet right beside the Faro Customs House (Alfândega de Faro).
You will see our van with our guide waiting for you.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start.
No refund for cancellations within 24 hours of the start time.
Changes made less than 24 hours before departure cannot be accepted.
If we cancel due to poor weather or low bookings, you’ll get a full refund or the option to reschedule.
How do I know my booking is confirmed?
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your tickets attached. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or promotions folder.

We stop in Lagos, where you’ll find restaurants and mini-markets for every taste. Or feel free to bring your own food to enjoy there.
Is this a walking tour?
Yes! It’s a walking tour with a moderate activity level. Think easy coastal paths, great views, and time for photos and breaks.
Do I need to pay to enter Sagres Fortress?
Sagres Fortress has an entrance fee of €10 (or €5 depending on age), which includes access to the site and museum.
The visit is optional — you can choose to go inside or simply enjoy the views around the area.
Most travellers feel it’s worth it, but it’s completely up to you.
How long is the tour?
It’s a full-day experience of around 8 hours, giving you plenty of time to take in the breathtaking views at each stop.
Along the way, you’ll also have time to relax, enjoy lunch in Lagos.
In what language is the tour conducted?
The tour is conducted entirely in English, as it is the most widely spoken international language. This makes the experience accessible to everyone in the group, no matter where they come from.
Our guides also speak Portuguese, and depending on the guide, may be able to assist in Spanish or French if needed.

A moderate fitness level is required, as there will be some walking on uneven paths.

We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 travellers.
